This is for 3 clients.

Come join me in photographing the magic landscape of Achill Island in Co Mayo. We will shoot from sunrise to sunset and experience the full range of landscape photography this incredible island has to offer. Small group ensures you get plenty of attention and interaction from me throughout the workshop. We may also explore other locations in Co Mayo if I think the conditions suit a particular spot. Do not worry about your skill level, I can cater for all levels of photography on this workshop  

What is included in the price?

• Photography tuition

• 3 nights accommodation in a scenic Air BnB (each client will have their own private bedroom)

• Transport between locations on the island

• A small kitty will be provided for food in house but meals outside of the Air BnB are not covered.

  On the off chance that weather prevents us from shooting during the day, I will run post processing sessions in house to pass the time and give you some insight into how I edit my images.

What should you bring?

• Outdoor gear for all types of weather

• Sturdy hiking boots or walking shoes

• Your camera and choice of lenses. I would recommend bringing a good all purpose zoom such as a 24-70 along with a wide angle.

• Filters, tripod and any other accessories you would normally bring.

• I can provide tripods and filters for those who do not have any.

Itinerary:

This is a rough guide, a full itinerary will be sent closer to the time.

Thursday - arrive between 1 and 2pm. Grab a bite to eat in Achill, drop the bags off in the house and head out for sunset.

Friday - sunrise followed by some shooting along the Island. Breakfast and rest for a bit, then back out for lunch and shooting until sunset.

Saturday - similar plan to friday. We could venture further a field to shoot some different locations if the weather plays ball.

Sunday - sunrise followed by breakfast. Everyone will have the chance to get freshened up before travelling back home. You are free to stay on for another bit of photography if the day is looking good, we will wait and see!

Your equipment is not covered under insurance so I cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your gear.

Note: A moderate fitness level is desirable for this workshop. There will be one or two hikes but we allow plenty of time for getting there.

Keem Bay, Benmore Cliffs, Minaun Heights, Keel Beach, Ashleam Cliffs, Achill Famine village and many more!
